11-14 January 2012, Bad Hofgastein, Austria

The traditional symposium is an ideal meeting place for younger and older scientists to meet old and make new friends. The special atmosphere with an international mix of participants, the moderate size of the meeting and the fact that parallel sessions are avoided make it easy to make both scientific and social contacts.

The symposium venue is located in the Congress Center of Bad Hofgastein, right in the middle of the famous spa and skiing resort, with all major hotels and the railway station within easy walking distance. This meeting's programme will combine sessions on some of the most important developments in nuclear medicine with ample opportunities for discussion and the presentation of your own ideas and opinions.

Again, continuing education will play an important role. The European School of Nuclear Medicine will organise several lectures, and award credit units for the scientific sessions. The forthcoming symposium is the 30th in an uninterrupted series of biannual meetings. The symposia have seen and reported more than half a century of nuclear medicine, from the very beginning of our specialty in Europe to the present state.
